Aroma/Bouquet: Deep, rich, blackberries and currants.
This is a very nice Merlot. Ample flavors, complex body, softly smooth and satisfying. Slight cherry and spice, a hint of oak. Not “too” dry.
Of special note; Fetzer grows all of their grapes organically.

This wine is nice and light, not alot of tannins as with most reds. I served this with chicken and it made a terrific accompaniment. I think the cork is synthetic though. Fetzer is the only winery to buy 100% Green Power too!
